Turns — each turn you PLAN (the battle is frozen; take your time vs the AI, 30s vs a player), press READY, then both squads' plans play out at the same time for 6s. Stuck? AUTO-PLAN (G) fills in a solid plan to tweak.
Zones — 3 zones, A B C. Be the only squad in one for 3s to take it; it stays yours until the enemy takes it. Every zone you own = +1 per second. First to 150, or most after 30 turns. Spread out — 2 zones beat 1 big blob.
Orders — right-click ground: move (path + ghost of where it'll be) · right-click a zone: take it · right-click an enemy: focus · E ability · H hold · R back to base · nothing selected = whole squad.
Fights — no dice — tanks shoot the weakest enemy they can see in range (or their focus); all shots land at the same time. Short guns lose damage at long range; the Sniper gets stronger the farther its target is. Moving −35% (Twin −10%) · side/back hits +40% · inside a zone you own −25% damage taken · walls block shots · base heals fast · the Protector heals. A destroyed tank comes back at base next turn. The feed says why every tank died.
